We are seeking the community's input and ideas into how to treat, convert or improve the look of a major tree stump which is unattractive, and a current hazard in the grounds of Mansfield Community Cubby House in Davies Street, Mansfield. We are also looking for interested parties to provide resources (material or labour) in bringing the best idea to life.
The best submission to improve Cubby House’s tree stump will be developed into a proposal to be submitted to the Mansfield Council for approval, and will receive a $500 gift voucher to be spent at a business of choice.
The competition is open to the entire Mansfield community and runs for a month from Monday September 16 to Monday October 14 with the winner being announced at the Mansfield High Country Festival in early November.
Competition Guidelines:
For submissions to be eligible, submissions must not contain any fixing to the tree.
Submissions must consider the safety of the Cubby House children.
Submissions must be prepared in A4 format with diagram(s) to illustrate the submission with a written explanation of the idea (maximum of 200 words).
Visual reference can be provided in support of the submission to help illustrate the idea.
Submissions must include an indicative construction budget.
Once submitted, the submissions become the property of MACE.
The judging panel’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
