MACE is proudly the approved Local Early Childhood Education and Care Training Provider for Mansfield's only not-for-profit community-owned and managed childcare centre ~ Mansfield Community Cubby House.

The centre is registered with the Victorian Department of Education and Early Childhood Development

(Provider No.: 9921).

The Whole

Child

In an environment that is safe, welcoming and fun, the centre aims to provide for individual growth of the whole child through responding to their social, emotional, educational and recreational needs.

Self Paced

Learning

The program is designed to provide opportunities for learning that are challenging and stimulating, and foster creativity using open-ended experience. Children are encouraged to learn at their own pace using their strengths and interests to enable them to reach their full potential.

Tailored

Areas

The centre is licensed to cater for up to 50 children with the program divided into three age-specific areas including:

  • Giggling Galahs 3mths - 2yrs

  • Laughing Kookaburras 2-3 yrs

  • Rainbow Lorikeets 3-5 yrs

A Range of Services

The centre offers a range of services including:

  • Permanent Day Care between 6.30am and 6pm

  • Permanent Sessional Care

  • Casual Care

  • 3 year-old Kindergarten

  • Outside School Hours Care (primary school aged) & Holiday Care

Operating Hours

Monday to Friday 6.30am - 6.00pm​

The centre is closed on the following days:

  • Christmas break: closed for two (2) weeks Dec/Jan. Specific dates to be advised in early March.

  • Australia Day

  • Labour Day

  • ANZAC Day

  • Good Friday

  • Easter Monday

  • Monarch's Birthday

  • AFL Grand Final Day

  • Melbourne Cup Day
