At MACE, we're always looking for ways to invest in our future and strengthen what we can offer our community.
That's why we're so excited to have completed the installation of a new solar and battery system at our Mansfield campus, thanks to support from the AusNet Energy Resilience Grant and the fantastic team at Crowe Electrical.
This project is about much more than solar panels. It's about building a stronger, more sustainable MACE for the years ahead.
The new system helps reduce our reliance on the electricity grid, lowers our ongoing operating costs and gives us greater energy security during power outages. It also means we're taking another important step towards increasing our capacity to support the community during times when reliable power matters most.
For a community-owned not-for-profit like MACE, every dollar we save on electricity can be put back where it belongs. Into education, training, early childhood education and care, community programs and creating more opportunities for local people.
We're also proud to be reducing our environmental footprint while investing in infrastructure that will continue benefiting our organisation and community for many years to come.
Projects like this don't just help MACE. They help the hundreds of people who walk through our doors each week to learn, connect, work, meet and access local services. It's another investment that helps ensure MACE remains a welcoming, reliable space for our community, both now and into the future.
A huge thank you to AusNet for making this project possible through the AusNet Energy Resilience Grant, and to Crowe Electrical for delivering such a high-quality installation.
We're incredibly proud of what this project represents, and we're excited about the opportunities it creates for MACE and our community.
