Service Description

Have you thought about starting your own hive? Always had the urge to become an apiarist?? Then here's a great starting point. Facilitated by Charlie Nancarrow from Dindi Bees, this session aims to provide attendees with the following knowledge • Understand the fundamentals of beekeeping and its role in agriculture and biodiversity. • Learn about different types of bees and their roles within the hive. • Get acquainted with essential beekeeping equipment and tools for hive management. • Explore the life cycle, communication, and behavior of honeybees. • Understand the seasonal cycle of hive management, honey production, and harvesting techniques. • Identify common bee diseases and pests, and develop skills for colony care and troubleshooting.
