Literacy & Getting Your Licence

This course has been designed to assist people to gain their Learner Permit issued through Vic Roads. 

 

Assistance and support will be provided from a fully qualified and experienced tutor in regard to booking YOUR VicRoads Learner Test,  helping YOU with the necessary paperwork, and supporting YOU through the learning process.

Skills for Work and Study - Health Services

Do you have a passion for helping people? Do you want to make a difference to the community you work in? Maybe yes, but you need a little extra help to build your confidence to move into the workplace or to take on further study. This course is a direct pathway partnership with Mansfield District Hospital, with work guaranteed while you study. Take a step towards your qualifications in health services while supported by MDH and MACE with this pre-accredited skills building course designed to elevate you into further study and employment.

Learner Engagement Program - Euroa

This program explores real work possibilities available and the personal strengths and outlooks that you have which will help you choose, and pursue, the job that’s right for you.

 

Program participants will explore over five weeks diverse work possibilities available in the local area, and will examine both current and potential strengths that they have which support individual work interests and success.

 

This exploration will focus on personality, mindset, values, interests and learning. As a result, each participant will be prepared to take the next step toward gaining employment in work of their choice.

STEP Program - Euroa

This course focuses on finding, and preparing for, a job of choice in the Strathbogie Region. The program will support participants to undertake an extensive investigation of one or two areas of work that the participant chooses.

 

Learners will know that they have diverse strengths, skills and knowledge that can be applied to work and/or further study, and that pathways exist within, and across, industries, and within the educational sector, which enable them to pursue work that may have seemed beyond reach.

 

Learners will be able to manage their own learning, find a meaningful pathway into the work of their choice, and acquire the skills and knowledge required to pursue the work of their choice.

This is a 30 hour pre-accredited program designed to build on the Digital Essentials Level 1 program. This program will extend learners’ understanding of technology, including the use of different digital devices, their functionality and the ways people can use these devices to connect with others and access services over the Internet.

 

Topics covered include building email skills, creating in Word, finding information online, day to day technology, and new online experiences.
