First Aid Courses
This course teaches you the knowledge and skills required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines. You will learn to respond to signs of an unconscious casualty, perform CPR, and communicate details of the incident. As per the ARC guidelines the HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Unit needs to be completed every 12 months.

The purpose of this course is to raise awareness of the allergy and anaphylaxis in the community. Graduates of Allergy and Anaphylaxis Awareness will be able to identify signs and symptoms of an allergic/anaphylactic reaction and assist a person experiencing a severe allergic reaction by providing emergency first aid using an adrenaline auto-injector device. In addition, they will identify allergen risks and develop risk minimisation plans for people where a duty of care is present.
